Three polar regions in one journey
Link South Georgia, the Antarctic Peninsula and the Antarctic Circle direction in one unusually deep polar itinerary. Crossing the Circle is an expedition objective, subject to weather, sea ice and the captain's decision.
The king penguin coast
South Georgia is the journey's principal wildlife destination, with opportunities to observe king penguins, elephant seals and albatrosses when landing and cruising conditions allow.
Twenty-two nights at sea
Twenty-two nights aboard Seaventure create a much longer exploration window than a classic Peninsula voyage, with lectures, equipment preparation and deck observation built into the sea days.
Toward 66°33′ south
Between 9 and 14 December, the expedition plans to continue south toward 66°33′, selecting the safest route according to ice, weather and navigational conditions.
Zodiac cruising and landings
When conditions and landing rules permit, the expedition team generally aims for up to two landings or Zodiac cruises per day, each around 90 minutes; frequency and duration are never guaranteed.
A living polar ecosystem
Potential wildlife ranges from several penguin and seal species to humpback and killer whales. Every sighting is a natural encounter, never a promise.
Chinese-language charter support
Chinese-language expedition support, notices, menus and interpretation are planned for the full charter, alongside photography sharing and selected group activities.
Three nights in Buenos Aires
Three hotel nights in Buenos Aires provide city time before departure and a practical buffer before the international journey home.

DAY 1-2Home city to Buenos Aires+
Depart China via an international connection and arrive in Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel and adjust to the time zone.
DAY 3Buenos Aires+
Visit central Buenos Aires, including Plaza de Mayo, the exterior of Casa Rosada, Teatro Colón and La Boca, followed by a planned tango performance.
DAY 4Fly to Ushuaia and embark+
Fly to Ushuaia, spend time in the city and board Seaventure. Meet the expedition team and complete the mandatory safety briefing.
DAY 5-7At sea toward South Georgia+
Sail toward South Georgia with equipment biosecurity, landing preparation and lectures on polar history, wildlife and field rules.
DAY 8-9Explore South Georgia+
Seek landing and cruising opportunities around South Georgia, potentially including St Andrews Bay, Grytviken, Gold Harbour and Fortuna Bay, subject to conditions.
DAY 10-11At sea toward Antarctica+
Continue south through the Southern Ocean with lectures, deck observation and shipboard activities.
DAY 12Antarctic Sound and Peninsula+
Approach Antarctic Sound, known for immense icebergs, before continuing into the Peninsula region as ice and weather permit.
DAY 13-16Explore the Antarctic Peninsula+
Explore the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, with possible Zodiac cruises and landings around Half Moon Island, Charcot Port, Cierva Cove and Paradise Bay.
DAY 17King George Island+
The ship plans a call near the Chilean airfield on King George Island for the voyage's scheduled passenger operation; the exact method is determined on site.
DAY 18-23Deeper Peninsula exploration and the Antarctic Circle direction+
Continue deeper into the Antarctic Peninsula and, when safe, progress toward waters south of the Antarctic Circle. No latitude or landing site is guaranteed.
DAY 24-25Cross the Drake Passage+
Cross the Drake Passage toward South America, watching for seabirds around the Antarctic Convergence when nature allows.
DAY 26Disembark in Ushuaia and fly to Buenos Aires+
Disembark in Ushuaia, spend time in town and fly to Buenos Aires for the final hotel night.
DAY 27-29Buenos Aires to home city+
Transfer for the international flight home, with arrival in China expected on 20 December.
