Why this journey
Less time crossing. More time in Antarctica.
The planned charter flights bypass the long Drake Passage sea crossing in both directions. Unlike many shorter fly-cruises, this itinerary retains seven cruise nights for Antarctic Peninsula exploration.
Punta Arenas–King George Island charter flights, subject to weather windows.
Zodiac cruising, landings and lectures are arranged when conditions permit.
World Traveller carries approximately 182 guests and is rated Ice Class 1B.

Frequently asked questions
Direct answers before you enquire.
What exactly is this offer?
A 10-day, 9-night Atlas Ocean Voyages fly-cruise package aboard World Traveller. It includes seven cruise nights in Antarctica, roundtrip charter flights between Punta Arenas and King George Island, and hotel nights before and after the cruise.
Why are the full journey dates different from the cruise dates?
The full journey starts one day before embarkation for the Punta Arenas hotel and flight briefing, and ends one day after disembarkation with the post-cruise hotel. The cruise itself runs Dec 7–14 or Dec 14–21, 2026.
Does the trip cross the Drake Passage by sea?
The planned journey uses charter flights in both directions between Punta Arenas and King George Island, reducing the long sea crossing. All Antarctic flights remain weather-dependent.
How is the saving calculated?
The campaign fare starts at US$12,999 per person, twin share. The same sailing's referenced public fare was approximately US$20,499, a difference of US$7,500—about CNY 55,000 at the campaign reference exchange rate. Current public fares, exchange rates and eligible cabins can change.
Is every landing guaranteed?
No. Flight timing, route, landing sites and activities depend on weather, airport conditions, ice, sea conditions, permits and the captain and expedition leader's decisions.
How do I confirm availability?
Ask a Newayer advisor for the current cabin status, written confirmation and contract. Inventory and fares are not guaranteed until confirmed.
